Ok, this is bugging me insane.
I mostly lie in my bed, at home or in a hotel while using my iPod. So I browse it, I do stuff. All's nice, dark and comfy. Then I decide to play music. I press Music.
Wham, I get flashed by a bright white backlight. In all other places except menues, the background is dark with white text. Here, in Playlist its bright. If I tilt it to select albums sideways, it's dark again, showing album artwork or a dark default note symbol if no artwork exists. I press such an album. Dark. I tilt it upright to be able to change volume etc. White. I press the track order thing up in the right corner, dark. Then back again, white.
Thought Apple were innovators and experts on design. Ask most people that knows anything about eye comfort, and they tell you to BE CONSISTENT in such matters, EITHER bright OR darker.
Is there ANY way I get set the iPod to DARK background at ALL times, prefferably EVERYWHERE - but at least in that view. Without hacking it. And no, not to set brightness way down.
I've tried setting all unknown album artwork to a dark pic, didn't work.
