I do everything i can to get the best battery out of my 4s, i wait till it completely dies before i charge it every time, and my sexy little phone is in a defender case, i dont mind the occasional jokes about it being a tank, what i do mind is my brightness when i 1st got it on launch the 1st thing i did was lower the brightness but now i think i am gonna turn it all the way up... the screen is to sexy to deny!

and on a side note is it common when doing some hardcore gaming that it starts to run alittle hot, with everything else i wouldnt be surprised but this is my 1st smart phone in awhile so i need input please.

Thanks guys.

not sure if letting the battery drain fully actually helps it... should li-ion be charged whenever you feel like?

Letting the battery die fully is a common misconception about battery health and longevity. This was actully needed for nickel cadmium based batteries as they would have this so called "memory" if you charged them early. This is actually not necessary for lithium ion batteries, in fact, keeping them charged is actually better as they tend to get weaker if you let them drain fully.
