Brightness/Clarity of AW4 AL vs SS

With the original AW (which I still sport) I recall there being a notable difference in brightness between the standard AW display and that of the Sapphire display of the Stainless. Now that we are three more models down the road, how does the visual aspect compare between the two models?

Became a virtual non-issue when the brightness went to 1000 nits from the S2 onwards I believe.

I think the brightness is fine. I had a SO SS and it had a dim screen. I have had aluminum watches the last few times, but I went back to the SS for series 4. The screen is very bright, no issues.

I have an aluminum S0 and now an SS S4. I don't see a difference in screen brigthness.
