I have an original Apple Watch and after updating to watchOS 3.2 my battery life is worse than normal. I tried different settings to reduce battery drain, but I couldn’t make it through a day comfortably.
Yesterday I noticed that, receiving a notification, the display was brighter than usual. When looking on the display for the second time, it was back to normal. I‘m using the lowest brightness setting.
The same happens in different situations (navigating in Maps, lifting the watch up from the charging puck) but not consistently. It‘s unpredictable when the watch uses which brightness setting. I think my battery problems stem from this glitch.
Today I did a reset, without using a backup. But now the problem is back again.
Has someone noticed the same behavior?
