Brightness returning to Max setting

Hi,

I´ve been dealing with quite an annoying problem the last few months.

When i adjust the screen brightness on my Imac 27" i5, Radeon HD 4850, running Windows 7 x86, it returns to full brightness after a few seconds. Sometimes 1 second, sometimes 20, it seems pretty random.

Do any of you guys know how to fix this issue?
