I have a dead pixel on my Macbook Pro 2011 and I wanted to bring it in to the Genius Bar. I have Lion GM release on as my OS, is there going to be a problem when I bring it in since I'm not a developer?

There won't be a problem as long as it's nothing to do with Lion, and as it's a dead pixel, you're fine.
While I'm firmly against non-developers toying around with this stuff, there's really no way for them to figure it out and it's really none of the Genius Bar's business.

i'm not entirely sure, but my thought process is that it has been said that it is likely that you need to have the original hardware in your system in order to fix hardware related issues. that is certainly hardware related and i don't see why you would need SL on your computer in order to get it repaired.
