I've traded phones with a friend for a couple weeks. Right now I'm using his 32GB white 3GS that I'm liking quite a bit except for this one problem.. his phone will stop recieving/sending anything any time that it wants.
He's got the three year warranty on it and last time he went into Apple he said that he wanted a new one and they wouldn't give it to him. I'm sure its the antenna thats broken, but I'm no expert.
So my question is - do I need to be the registered owner of the iPhone to bring it in? Does it matter if I've got my Blackberry plan and my SIM card inside? It happens no matter what SIM card is in there.. Also, will they keep it overnight or will they be able to fix it quickly?
