Bit of a turn around from events over the last few weeks... interesting to note that it seems that the Mansell/Brand Synergy led consortium are not currently involved in the agreement!? I thought they were supposed to be in agreement to partner the BRDC??
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the BRDC has clubbed together to raise the £1.5m to host the race after the interest shown by the Mansell/Brand Synergy bid probably put the jeepers up them, which offered to secure the race for the next 7 years (equalling that of China) and investing £200 million in improving not only the circuit, but facilities as well to bring them up to a truly world class level!!
The BRDC want to keep it all for themselves... greedy toff b@stards!!
