I do not think the death of Briyney Spears is a world wide tragedy in case it happend. I guess is enough to discuss about the NY attack but that is it. There are forums for those kind of things. I do not think the computer industry is gonna be affected by the death of Britney or Michael Jackson or any other celebrity (may be Steve Jobs).

i think that's some funny reading. though i must admit, i did have a good laugh when princess diana died. i mean seriously, no one really knew her that personally, so i don't see how they could grieve about her death so much.

You guys need to relax. I posted that because I came across it and thought it was funny. You guy don;t need to like get all pissed of and sh*t. I posted to show you guys who ever did this did a great job of making the page real. If you try to navigate the page everything works even the scripts for "email this page" and "print this page". It all brings up the dialog the original CNN dialog boxes. I use a mac but all you people here seem like when something if posted and not somethign that deal with the mac you guys get all crazy except for monkey business. So when you read a post take it with a grain of salt that I was sharing something to you that I knew was a pranked but wanted to share how beliveable it was. Every needs to just come done.

Seriously, ripping off somebody else's page and replacing the text isn't so tough, but the page is an obvious fake for the simple reason that the "author" can't write in a convincing reporting style. The whole thing was sort of awkward with rambling sentences and odd phrasing. CNN also would never have been so circumspect about the sex angle. Either you say something or you don't -- you don't hint at it in such a way that it's kind of obvious what you're talking about.
Oh, and CNN doesn't have popup porn ads.

it is kind of annoying when people get all uppity uppity flanders and **** in these tech forums. im as computer literate if not more than the next geek, but these guys need to pull the mice out of their asses. if it isnt a forum you geeks didnt want to participate in or read, then why did you pocket protectors come in here and read and post? why? cause you are bitter lifeless elitist attitude chip on your shoulder pencil necks...that is why. sheesh, i hate to put it all down on you like this (not that it would possibly pierce your low esteemed ego's) but that is the way it is. lighten up crybabies.
