Broadcasting audio

Hi, I recently moved from a pc and used to broadcast audio using winamp using shoutcast to host

It seems the best alternative on mac is nicecast which i use frequently.

It would be nice to find a mac host (like shoutcast) so people could connect in without me sending them a url

Any help would be great.

Nicecast has an integrated Icecast (open source icecast 'clone').
But what do you mean by "people could connect in without me sending them a url" ?
