broadcasting live dj set with a mac..

hey guys have any of you broadcasted dj sets live on the net using a Mac? I got Macamp Lite X.......but i do not know how to configure it....I want to just use the mac itself for the server....and only broadcast to a few people.... can anyone help? thanks

nicecast works great........but you need a server or something to broadcast to alot of people...I got it setup its very easy...but then i could not broadcast because I didnt have a server..

Quicktime broadcaster could be worth a look. As the above poster mentioned you'll need to bounce it off a server [hosting service or personal server] to get a reliable multi-user stream.

Broadcasting hardware....

Ok I understand the part of using nicecast or quicktime broadcaster, but how do I set up so the output of my mixer goes into the server,don't you need a harware to hook up too?
