I've been online, and here, looking for a way - or software - that allows me to broadcast my desktop via my iSight camera. I've found TONS for PCs but none that seem to work for Mac.

Supercam isn't usable on Mac, Catcam doesn't seem to work when I try and install it, and Webcammax doesn't work with Mac either.

Anyone out there using a decent program that can broadcast your desktop?

Me confused!

do you mean you want a "live feed" of your desktop? or do you want to record what's happening on your screen/desktop? (for download/sharing etc.)

Live feed. So, if I want to show someone I'm conferencing with how to do something in PhotoShop I can "switch" my iSight camera to display my desktop and not me.

Thanks!!! I'm still looking online for a program but can't find one for Mac :(

Thanks for the replies. Basically I just want a simple webcam application that will show my desktop. PCs have it already built in if you use a projector (press F4 I think). There are TONS of them for free for PC but I can't find any for Mac :(

Thanks for the link to TeamViewer, checking it out now.

Basically, I'm looking for a program like ManyCam but for Mac. There doesn't seem to be one around, which is odd!

Yesterday i went searching for a program that i could broadcast my macs desktop through onto as a webcam switch kinda thing for the website stickam... I came across this thread and it gave me more words to search for I finally came across a program that is free, called "CamTwist". I believe this is what you are looking for... If I am wrong then I'm sorry. It's free, it allows you to switch your iSight cam to yoru desktop feed and back. HOWEVER it DOES NOT work with iChat. Their site lists alot of websites and programs it DOES work with, however.

But yea google CamTwist and you will see if its right for you.

Macs can do that too. But that is video out and not screen capture which is what you are looking for. I am sure that screenflick has a live feed feature. Search apple downloads for it.
