Hey guys I discovered this interesting little Broadcom web software updater when I was trying to get my HT820 headphones to pair correctly. It appears to update the driver as well as install the latest version of the Broadcom (widcomm) bluetooth stack without all of the license/hacking stuff.

Here's the link: http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php

I'm trying it right now. I uninstalled all of the drivers relating to the "Built-In Apple Bluetooth". I'll report back with any news.

Edit: Ran the installer. I still have the normal stack in place and when I tried to disable it the updater didn't run. The Widcom software is all installed, but now won't run :-(
