HI guys

I noticed my main MacBook to Display usb-c jack broke off on the display end. Great LG engineering. seams like it tore off some logic board inside since its loose with the cable still connected. I tried to get it to work but no hope. what would you do next and is this a warranty covered issue?

If you are still within Apple's the 14 day return window, return it to Apple for a replacement or refund.

If you are outside Apple's the 14 day return window, contact LG and explain to them this problem developed under normal usage conditions and is obviously an LG manufacturing defect. My guess is LG will then instruct you to ship your monitor to an LG service center for repair or replacement under warranty.
