So I Just installed an SSD in replacement of the HDD, and i knew the HDD Fan would max out, So I Am using the 1 hour trial of HDDFanControl, but I Don't have $30 to blow on a piece of software to slow down a fan, So is there a free alternative? Also It seems my ODD (Optical Drive)AND CPU fans are maxed, and I Have no idea why, Is there anyway to fix it?

Update:

I Pulled it apart again, and It worked fine, but when I was putting the last screws in I Heard the fan start to grind on something (like a wire was hitting it,) Then the CPU Fan went full blast again. So I Pulled the Display off again, and the friggen "DP" Cable (the big one thats by the sensor cables) Broke. I Cant find the cable anywhere, and this is my Dads iMac, im extremely sad right now, if someone could help me find this cable, that would be great. This is extremely upsetting. The display doesn't show anything when it boots. Like some of the actual prongs are just gone off that cable. This iMac was just repaired a week ago with a new Logicboard.

EDIT: I Think The cable I Need is the LVDS Cable, but I Cant find any of them for the mid 2010 21.5". This is extremely upsetting

EDIT 2: Found one! http://www.thebookyard.com/product.php?products_id=6292 But it is in the UK and I'm in the US, I Cant find one here anywhere!!

EDIT 3: Found one in the US. http://www.dvwarehouse.com/Apple-Di...Mid-2010-593-1280-922-9497---NEW-p-40046.html Ugh. $50. This is ending up to not be worth it.

Thank you for the link, but I Actually followed that, I Think I May have bumped something in the process of doing everything, and the apple store is 2 cities away, So Hopefully I Can get THIS: http://www.dvwarehouse.com/Apple-Di...Mid-2010-593-1280-922-9497---NEW-p-40046.html before christmas time. He doesnt use the iMac much, But if he wants to use it, I'll lend him my MacBook pro as this is my fault.. :/ This was not worth $50.
