So I dropped my black iPhone 4s (sprint) on concrete and shattered the front and back.. I ordered thishttp://www.amazon.com/Apple-Digitizer-Assembled-Together-Replacement/dp/B0061IOGFU/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top from amazon, and when it came in, I tried installing it.

Everything went well until I screwed the screen in, and on the back, the fatter ribbon cable seemed to fit fine, but the skinnier one was not long enough, no matter how much tugging and pulling it obviously wouldn't stretch and it just wasn't long enough... I asked for a replacement, but haven't gotten a response yet... I ended up actually ripping the skinnier cable which got REALLY frustrating...

Can anyone give some insight into this? Why wasn't it long enough? Do the white / black iPhone 4S' have different ribbon cable lengths? Is it cause I may have recieved an At&t screen when I have sprint? I'm confused, frustrated, and phone-less for at least the rest of the week.. Thanks though guys...

For clarification: thishttp://www.iphoneshopusa.com/200-319-large/iphone-4s-complete-screen-replacement-lcd-digitizer-glass-white.jpg is an example. That silver-plated looking ribbon cable on the RIGHT doesn't extend long enough onto the board.
Thanks a lot guys..

I'm almost 99% sure that when you pushed the ribbons for the digitizer and LCD through the opening in the metal frame that it folded on top of itself. It has happened to me twice. There is a very good chance you damaged the ribbon if you got as far as assembling the phone completely.

Also, some of those ****ing screens are total ****. I've received some janky-ass ones from Yosir. That would be the other 1%.

Hope that helped.

Thank you... I contacted them and they said it was for AT&T only, and they're offering to send me a Verizon screen, but then I told them I had Sprint and they said they don't have sprint only Verizon... I thought that they were the same because they're both CDMA right? Should I just request a Verizon one? Thanks a lot!
