brokedy space bar

i was removing the keyboard from my pb wallstreet and the space bar popped off. i got it back on, and it works, but has no "spring" to it. am i missing a spring? i noticed underneath the scissors, a thin wire hinge and a soft plastic finger to trigger the key. am i missing any other parts?
