So, as the title suggests, my 3Gs has died, it's slowly stopped working over the past few weeks. Before anyone suggests, I can't restore, it fails every time giving a different error code each time, it no longer displays the serial number or IMEI number when it's in recovery mode, so something is very much wrong with it.

Now, I went to glastonbury, when I got back, the issue got considerably worse, I figured it was a bit dusty and decided to open it up and spray it with canned air, here is where I made my discovery, on the inside (bottom right of the logic board), there is a small sticker reading "Do not remove", it has been damaged quite badly, I had the screen replaced a little while ago, and think the engineer might have buggered the sticker and not bothered to replace it.

Now, my dilemma is this, I want to take it to the Apple store as I've read about O2 insurance being very very difficult to work with, trying to get out of issuing a replacement suggesting the insurance doesn't cover what it states it covers, but, can I take it to the Apple store even though they've damaged the warranty sticker? Or will they just say I've done it and completely refuse to hear me out?

Oh, FYI, before anyone suggests I broke the sticker, look up the guide on taking apart the 3Gs, it's impossible for me to have broken the sticker just by removing the screen...

Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to clear up any potential pointless replies/questions.
