A while back, i spilt milk on my Macbook and the CD drive and click function of my trackpad stopped working. I think my warranty has expired and so I am wondering if there are any affordable solutions to fixing at least my CD Drive without buying the $100 MacBook Air External Drive.

You won't find a cheaper drive, depending on your Mac. I suggest ifixit.com as they have parts and tutorials.

Also, make sure the external drive works with your Mac. Last time I checked, correct me if I'm wrong, the external drive works with the MacBook Air, only.

Yes, the external superdrive only works with the MacBook Air and I believe the Mac Mini as well.

As for the SuperDrive, you can find them for roughly $150 here. For a cheaper one, you'll probably have to search ebay.
