Broken Cinema Display Hinge!

I was wondering if anyone know's where I can buy a replacement hinge (Hinge Assembley 922-5579) for an Apple Cinema HD Display 23" (pre-dvi aluminium model), preferably in the UK (I live in London).

I called apple store, and after an hour, I was told they no longer make the part and therefore do not stock it! And authorised resellers won't give me a part unless they install it themselves, adding another £80 to the price.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I would love for this monitor to stand again!

Might be worth phoning a smaller repair shop to see if they have any old stock or can cannibalise a dead one, eg
