I have the original ones that came with my iPhone but one of my mates pulled on them and now there is exposed wire between the jack bit and the wire.

It looks really ugly and I was wondering the best way to fix it. Can I put a little bit of superglue on it or will it break it more? SHould I just go with a celotape fix?

thats why you dont pull on the cable ;)

sellotape will fix it for a while, until it looses its stickyness and falls off

Apple says that the headphones are included under the warranty of your iPhone. You could take them into an Apple store and they might replace them for free :D

i took my headphones into apple store 'cause the headphones were exposing some of the wire and they told me that they would not replace them because of the wire showing.

Maybe you could try damaging it a little more then what it already is, like popping off one of the earbuds, then see if Apple won't replace it at a Genius Bar.

Just make sure you don't make it too obvious that you did it on purpose!

..

I would..except my nearest Apple store is about an hour away :(

Anyone got any ideas for fixing?
