Not really. It's possible, but you'll wind up paying more than the iPod is worth, and likely more than a new iPod is worth.

On that subject, it's worth the upgrade. 2G -> 4G here.

I just bought new glass on eBay for $1.85 so I am doing pretty good! But any help would be great!!!

You will need a few more parts than that but in all honesty it is a pain in the aerosol to buy the parts separately and trying to assemble it yourself. You are better off buying a complete front replacement unit of glass, digitizer, midframe bezel, and home button flex all preassembled for under $20 on ebay that way you only have one flex cable to worry about to remove the broken front and snap the new unit into place.

Do you think this one will work? but it does not have the glass

I just got the full front panel for $21.98 on eBay, NOW HOW DO I put it on?

That is the beauty of Digiexpress They charge a flat 25 dollar fee, plus parts for any work needed on an iPod Touch, or any other iPod. This outfit does sell the tools needed to pop the Glass/Digitizer off. You may well need a mid-frame because it does have a high change of being bent when you pry the Glass front panel off.

The tools are $6.99 and are here: http://www.digiexpress.us/6-Piece-Tool-Kit_p_183.html

The Mid-frame should you need it: http://www.digiexpress.us/iPod-Touch-2G-Mid-Frame_p_149.html

Go here for instructions: http://www.rapidrepair.com/guides/ipodtouch2g/ipodtouch2grepairguide.html

When is comes time to replace the battery on My 2G while I can do the job I am going to send it to Digiexpress I figure forking over 25 dollars to pay somebody who has the experience repairing the iPod Touch, who has all of the parts on hand is a no brainer.:D
