Broken home button

Over the past couple of days my home button has developed an annoying Loud click. It seems to get worse when the weather is colder and comes and goes. I know a click is normal but mine is extremely loud when I press it off center on the bottom. It almost feels like I am crushing something under there. Anyone else have this problem. I have a 3gs.

Go get a new one from an Apple Store.

Yeah but this is my 4th phone already. I'm worried that they won't think it's a problem or that the phone they give me will be worse than this.

Then keep it.


If you bring it to the Apple Store, and they tell you that it's within spec, then it's within spec.
