Homesharing of my local music library between my Sequoia Mac and my iOS/ipadOS 26 devices has stopped working.
I can still see the remote library as an option on my iDevices, but selecting it doesn't do anything.
This has probably happened when I installed iOS26, but I cannot be sure.
I read everywhere that this is a very common issue right now and that there is little hope of Apple doing anything to fix it, preferring to move users towards Apple Music subscriptions and iCloud music sharing.
Before I give up entirely on this and I move to a Plex server solution, can anybody confirm if they can still use home sharing of their LOCAL music library (without Apple Music subscription) from a Mac running Sequoia or Thaoe, to an iPhone or iPad running iOS26 or iPadOS26?
Thanks
