Broken iPhone lost data

Hey

I am asking for a friend

He has a iphone which will know longer power up checks been done with apple and there is nothing wrong with battery it's the actual phone.

He had loads of pictures on there that have been lost as didnt back it up to itunes

Is there anyway to get the pics back

What did they do to the phone? Not much they can do.

Shame they had to learn the hard way the importance of backing up..

The phone battery died, so friend charged it up and wouldn't switch on took it into apple store who managed to run diagnostics check and said battery is fine and something else is stopping it turning on. He is not worried about the phone would just like the pictures if possible.
