Hi,

I recently bought an iPhone and it turned out to be jailbroken,
when I tried to restore it... it wont restore!

I bought it when the screen didn't work but i had intended on fixing it myself which I have done before with a previous iPhone I had. It made the "bing" sound when connected to my computer and the vibration unit worked fine...
up until I tried to restore it.

If anyone can help it would be awesome! :)

Thanks

I don't think switching out the screen would muck anything up. Try and restore it in DFU mode?

If it was unlocked on the 6.15 baseband, you might wanna try creating a custom IPSW (firmware file) by getting the appropriate firmware file from Felix Bruns Firmware and creating a custom one using the program sn0wbreeze (windows) or pwnagetool (mac). Then restore to it in iTunes after either program puts it in pwned DFU mode.
