Broken iSight FireWire camera

Hello! iSight Firewire isn’t working.(Green light appears when connected, makes “camera sound” and that’s all) Even OF has problem to recognise it. Anyone knows where’s the problem, please? I don’t know where to post it, hope it’s not a bad place.

Tested it on Intel MBP with the same result.

Have you tried another FireWire cable with it to rule out the cable being the issue? (Or, have you used the FireWire cable with another device to see if that works?)

Or, additionally, have you any other FireWire devices you can connect to test (such as an external drive) to verify that the bus is still working?

Yes. Firewire bus is working.

Tested on Powermac G4 and Intel MBP with another cables.
