I have a broken macbook pro 2018 the 15" screen . the screen doesn't work and when I asked the price to repair it was about 700 euros. I could get another one used on ebay for this money...what I should do? to repair it? or sell it and buy another one used ? how much does it worth? whats a good price to sell it?

MacBook Pros have had issues with the display cable (probably your problem) so there is no guarantee that if you get a used MacBook Pro from eBay that it will also not develop this issue.

Unfortunately, the 2016 - 2018 MacBook Pros have had other issues (keyboard, etc) which will each cost you the same 700 euros to fix if they happen to you.

The new 16" MacBook Pro appears to have fixed many of the issues but you will not be able to buy one for 700 euros.

I have no idea what you can sell your current MacBook Pro for even assuming someone would buy one with a broken display.

I am in the fixit camp. More of a gamble to buy another used one, and the 16" is not a one for one proposition, it is an upgrade that will cost you additional funds. Also selling a 2018 non-functioning reduces the number of buyers willing to gamble on it, and drives the price down.

I think I am gonna sell it for parts and get a brand new on credit, I am gonna pay it monthly..don't have the funds to pay it cash... thats the best solution I think...
