I previously posted re: my dead 16 in MacBook Pro. I have finger print Authentication and a good master password. It’s water damaged and cannot turn on.

If I sell my MacBook Pro What’s the chance my data left on the MacBook Pro can be compromised?

I believe it’s pretty safe to sell because of the encrypted t2 chip

Are you selling for parts? Reason I ask is that if you have activation lock enabled, then I don't think anyone else can use the machine unless you can disable it. Since you are not able to boot the machine, it is likely still enabled.

If it were me with personal information saved to your SSD, I would probably destroy the SSD and resell the rest of the machine for parts if you wanted. Peace of mind is worth something too.

Yes I did

If you had filevault active its almost impossible. Also with t2 chips it can't even enter external sistems without user authorization
