I think that the 3.5mm connector of my Shure e2c's doesn't work anymore. In fact, when I rotate the connector into the ipod or any other mp3 player's headphone socket, the sound just fades in and out one to the other ear. Not a good sign.
I suspect a shorted set of headphone? I think that it's time to get upgraded to the Grado's now.
