Broken part on attached to motherboard?

MBP late 2011, a1286 unibody 15"

There is a metal looking part about 1.5 inches long with small holes in it, Located just beside where the battery clips into the mobo.

One of the sides of this metal looking piece, is not attached to the board while 1 side is.

Any idea what it is? or how it can be fixed?

It's just a shield for the trackpad and keyboard cable.

What is broken about it? Do you have any pictures?
