I have an iPhone 4 and the screen isn't working. No pic at all but the phone is still doing things as I can hear it ringing etc. local shop said they would fix it for £75 but would I be better taking it to an apple store? I think there is something else wrong with it til as the sound of the ringing etc sounds distorted.

So local shop or apple shop?

Hi Dave, That sounds a really expensive repair from your local repair centre, you should be looking at £70 - £80 to replace the screen and check the speakers from a local shop, so I would have to suggest that you go the apple route rather than your local repair shop. Hope this helps? Regards, Jon.

Cheers for all the help guys. I went to a local place in the end and it cost £70 for them to fix and I am pleased to report its working fine.

Thanks for the help everyone :)
