I had to bring my 2016 MBP to the Genius Bar because of a faulty logic board and they replaced it (and the display) last week. When I got it back, I noticed that the speakers now sound like I'd hear sound from my headphones when they're not plugged in my ears (very low, bit distorted).
I've already tried most common tricks (install fresh OS, PRAM and SMC reset, check System Settings if anything is improperly configured..) but nothing helped.
I guess I'll have to bring it back to the Genius Bar (which doesn't have any appointments for the next 7 days.. love it). But before I do that, any ideas if there is anything else I can check?
