Here follows my 1-minute Brookstone Bluetooth Keyboard case mini-review:
As you can see, the box is beautiful, comparable to the iPad box.
Once opened, a profound "new leather car" smell fills the immediate vicinity.
The case is very solid and perfectly formed. The leather grain is smooth as a baby's bottom. The magnetic latch of the case aligns perfectly.
The bluetooth keyboard is very thin, plastic, but seems ridgid enough to take daily abuse (time will tell). There are indicator lights for charging and for when bluetooth is active. The keys are well proportioned, however those with larger fingers may have difficulty! Touch typing is comfortable and quick, however it will take time to get used to the smaller footprint versus a full-sized keyboard to cut down on typing errors. The keyboard is magnetic, can be placed anywhere inside the case, as well as completely removed if desired.
The case folds out nicely, however one must practice positioning to find the perfect angle. With time, the leather will relax, so positioning will be easier. One nice aspect is that the Keyboard is magnetic and the iPad is always protected in the leather holder, so one can type on their lap, or in any other odd position or angle and not worry about the iPad slipping and falling. Surely the iPad could survive a fall by being protected by so much cow.
When the iPad is inserted, the whole package weighs a bit less than a netbook. It looks very professional and classy.
Here ends the review. All photos taken with iPad 3 (sorry if they are blurry!)
