Any photo manipulation geniuses out there able to 'upscale' this picture?

Currently have it on my desktop, but it would be 'insanely great' if it were closer to 1024x768.

Thanks, if you can help...

Open the photo in Preview (comes with Mac OS X) and go "Tools > Adjust Size" and do it yourself, but as that image is not 4:3, the black bars will be added by Mac OS X when it will be shown as Desktop background.

I'm looking for a less pixelated, improved, better quality image.

Simply posting the image to desktop does an admirable job of resizing.

May I suggesting contacting Diana Walker, the photographer (care of Time magazine) and asking nicely? (And mention it is for private use only).

Good luck!
