BROTHER DCP-115C printing the pages small and really really slow? help please.

Hi guys, i have a brother dcp-115c, and it is fine and dandy with other computers other than any macs, it keeps printing really slow, which i can handle, but it keeps printing everything out tiny, like the pages and my fonts are coming out all tiny, its driving my nuts.. anyone know what i could do? i can't afford to get a new printer yet.
