Hi,

I bought a brother HL2270DW laser printer and when I arrived home discovered it had automatic double sided printing. So I decided to try it out on a brochure I had created.

It seems like the only option for printing double sided was checking the double sided box which I did. However, when I went and picked up the brochure it did not print properly.

It was in landscape. I could not see any other options for double-sided printing.

Any one know what went wrong?

I have a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.6.8.

In the printing window, check for a dialog box labelled Preview, and open that for booklet printing. The problem is, that in landscape it automatically prints in flip-up mode. For side binding, you have to print in portrait. The only choice you have is in left or right. Concept preview will show what the result will look like.

If you select manual duplex you have the choice of long or short edge binding
in portrait or landscape.
