I just got a Brother HL2270DW, great little laser printer. Running Lion 10.7, but I can't seem to get the driver's installed. Any help is much appreciated...

When I install the drivers that come on the CD, or downloaded from Brother, and then try to add the printer in System Settings, I get a popup that says "Software for this printer is available from Apple, would you like to download it ?".

If I click "Cancel" then nothing gets installed. If I click "Download and Install", then after a lengthy download process, I get another popup that says "The software for this printer is currently unavailable. Please contact the printer's manufacturer for the latest software"

Ok, now what ?

got it working

Seems simple now, but all i had to do was reboot the machine. Should have tried it before I guess, but nowhere in the instructions did it say anything about rebooting... Oh well, problem solved.
