Have a Brother HL-L2320D laser printer connected to a 2020 MBA running 10.15. It has worked just fine in the past but a week ago stopped printing.

The printer is seen by the Mac and shows supply levels of the printer. It shows the print queue as well. When initiating a print from the Mac the printer light flashes as if it’s receiving the job but then stops and nothing prints. Have grid printing a test page and get the same thing.

The printer worked fine when I bought the Mac two months ago. If it hadn’t I would just chalk it up to incompatibility.
I have deleted the printer and let it find the current Brother driver and it still doesn’t work I’ve tried older Brother drivers for older versions of the Mac OS and it still doesn’t work.

I have downloaded the current driver and firmware directly from the Brother site and it still doesn’t work.
Anyone else have any recent issues with a Brother printer?

I’ve tested the printer using the same cable on a PC and it works fine.
