Does anyone know where these are installed? I installed the iPrint&Scan Push Tool thinking it would be an alternate way of storing files onto my computer by using a quick scan/preset button on my BrotherMFC printer. Unfortunately, it didn't work that way and I found the drivers are not Apple Silicon-native.

I would like to remove them, but there isn't an uninstall option with the installer and I cannot find them anywhere.

By didn’t work that way, you mean it worked, but not the way you wanted it to? I’ve wanted something like what you’re describing for a long time. What did it do?

There is one file in the Library/Launch Agents/ folder, but many others scattered around, one buried deep in the Users/yourname/Library/Containers folder, etc. Best to use EasyFind and search for Brother, both files and folders.

I have a shared folder on my Mac Studio. I have a scanner profile (scan to network) set to connect to that folder. I created a shortcut on the printer's home screen for each task -- one to scan for things I do for work (that has a digitally signed PDF), another to scan receipts, another to scan other documents. Each are named different.

I thought the push feature would allow me to do the same thing, but it didn't.

The network scan function has worked well until macOS 13.4. Now, whenever I reboot my Mac Studio (or MacBook as I also have a similar setup with it), it won't allow the printer to connect to the shared folder. It requires me to delete the shared folder from sharing settings, disable sharing, reboot, turn sharing back on, and then add the folder back to sharing settings. It's a PITA.
