I've been briefly reading some of the MBP threads. Anyhow, fairly new MBP 16. Used it less than 2 hrs in total....still using my old MBP. Noticed a dead pixel. Dropped it off at Genius bar and requested it not be a Depo repair but in house. Tech orders a display (not in stock) and I knew there would be some time delay on the repair.

Genius Bar just calls. More delays and they said the touch sensor is bad and new logic board and fan need to be on order.
Not sure how they came to this post tech diagnosis as I don't recall the touch sensor not working when using it Safari and using touch sensor for saved passwords.

Anyhow, off to do a read to see what -known issues- are there with MBP 16

You’re outside your return window?
Did you buy it new? It should get replaced…

New. Has AC on it.
Still within warranty.

Just threw me for a curveball them calling and telling me bad touch sensor + new logice board and fan also need to order which would delay the repair. I did not observe anything of the like for the time/hrs I have used it....
