I don't know if I've already talked about it too much, but I keep trying to find a used 12" PB to buy. The most recent one seems perfect except for a small brown spot inside the apple on the lid (SEE PIC). I'm pretty OCD, so it will bother me. Is the lid easy to remove so that I could clean or replace the white plastic? Also, are there any display disassembly guides out there? IFixit's guide doesn't include that.

I got this from a site that sells colored inserts for the Apple logo, but the process of gaining access to the logo is obviously the same.

Thanks, that was what I needed. Any idea if there's a place to get a replacment piece of white plastic (assuming that's the problem)? I suppose I could make one, but I want it to look right. Also, I've never taken a display apart, is there a chance the brown mark is directly on the display?

Thanks!
