Browse IPSW File?

I love the icons in iOS, and was wondering if there was some way to browse the IPSW file to see them.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

IIRC from a long time ago the icons are embedded in a special way not some generic gif or jpg, my suggestion would be to make screenshots with your iPhone and then save those to your desktop and edit the screenshots to get your icons that way.
