I am a fairly new developer and looking to work on a few projects for a current job. I work at a hospital and in each room we have an iPad that patients can use, however they are limited to the apps that are pre-loaded from our MDM profile or that are in your MDM catalog. We have been getting complains that the content we have is not that fun. Through our MDM the app store is disabled but what I am looking to possibly make is an app where they can browse or search in the app store and once they find an app they want they can press a request button where the request would be sent to someone to approve for age appropriateness, etc. THen once approved would come to the IT team to purchase from the app store and add to the catalog.
I know Apple has an API for search, I just wasn't sure if you could browse the apps as well or if you have to know what you're looking for.
Any feedback on this would be appreciated!
