Hi all,
At home I have a work PC laptop, and my personal Mac mini, both connected to the internet (and each other) through an Ethernet switch. They are also both connected to a single monitor that has a built-in KVM. So I can switch between the two through a few button presses on the monitor.
Due to my work my PC laptop is highly protected which means I cannot install any software at all, access many sites (even something like Backstabbr which is a website to play Diplomacy), or even use my Brother all-in-one's scanner function (printing works fine though). So to do any of these I have to switch back to my Mini, which can be a bit annoying if I want to look at my work stuff at the same time.
I have tried to use Google Remote Desktop to log into my Mini through a Chrome window - this works great, except that of course it works over the internet which means latency is pretty bad. Does anyone know of a browser-based VNC solution that might work? FYI I cannot even install Chrome extensions, so VNC Viewer is out of the question.
