As of late, I have found that certain sites, including this one, hang or load extremely slowly when I use Firefox. If i switch to Safari, I have no problem at all. What could be causing this?

Also, are there any good apps that allow you to synchronize bookmarks between different browsers?

Well some sites work better on Safari then they do on firefox and vice versa. You just have to take your pick.

i don't think OP's case is a web-site compatibility problem. talk about compatibility, more website works in firefox than safari.

Have you recently installed any Firefox extensions? Those could be the problem. Also, if you use Greasemonkey, check your user scripts.

As for bookmark synching, there's a Firefox extension that does this. However, it's meant for synching two Firefox installations on different computers, and not two different browsers on the same computer.
