Is there an easy way to have browser profiles that works good?

I want to separate work bookmarks from daily bookmarks. I dont want other people using my computer having access to my work bookmarks. Firefox profilemanager is cumbersome to use. Any suggestions?

Set up a guest account on your Mac for anyone else using it. That way, they won't have access to your bookmarks or any other personal files.
