Browsers and (bad) responsive sites?

So, I get the whole responsive design thing, but a lot of them just suck (Invision's mobile view is a great example as it strips out signatures and moves everything into a single dropdown menu from hell, though there are plenty others).

Anyone know of a way to force Safari (or an alternative iOS browser) to ignore/change @media queries or whatever JavaScript sorcery needed to force responsive designs to show the desktop versions?
