Browsing macbook pro desktop trough iPad ?

Is it possible to connect my macbookpro to iPad ? what I mean is:

If I open a photo in photoshop on my macbookpro, can I use my iPad to select something in that photo (if I want to cut out smth or etc.), or draw something on that photo.

I hope you understand what I mean

Cheapest (free) method would be to install TeamViewer (for "personal" use) on your Macbook Pro, and then install the TeamViewer app on your iPad and use it to connect to TeamViewer on your Macbook Pro.

There may be better options out there, but the TeamViewer approach works for me, and the price is right, so I've never had a need to investigate any other method.

Duet Display connects your iPad through the Lightning cable. It's supposedly lag free. I do not know how well it works with Photoshop though.
