Hey all.
I'm hoping you can help me out. I have not owned an iPhone since the 4 and am considering the 6s Plus. However, having had an android Nexus 5 since 2013 I have got used to the relative freedom that it provides. However, things may have changed quite a bit since then so my initial issues with iOS may now have been addressed a long time ago.
The main one I have is whether it is possible to access shared folders on my Windows 10 desktop to stream/view photos and videos on there (currently I use ES File Explorer in Android)
The other question is whether it is possible to then use a third party app such as VLC to view non standard files that iOS does not handle by default e.g. Flac, mkv,avi etc. It would be preferable to stream this rather than transfer as that would take more time and storage space.
Cheers in advance!
